Why Immersions Are Essential for This WorkĀ 

Ā 
Heart iQ Circle Work is not something that can be learned intellectually.

Itā€™s a body-based, relational modality that works with nervous system attunement, group intelligence, and the amplified field that emerges when we gather in presence.

While online training can support learning, the deeper transmission of this work happens live, in person, through shared time in the field.

For many years, we trained facilitators primarily online, with short live intensives. It worked ā€” but it was a compromise.Ā 

The Immersion model is our answer to that.Ā 

Rather than training many people partially, we are choosing to train fewer people more fully, through long-form, live, embodied apprenticeship.

What is an Immersion?


Each Heart iQ Immersion is a three-week, live residency at New Eden, our retreat center in the Netherlands.

Each immersion:

  • Is fully self-contained
  • Can be attended on its own
  • Does not require any long-term commitment
  • Can be taken in any order

You can come for a single immersion that speaks to you ā€” or, over time, choose to complete all three as part of a deeper certificationĀ pathway.Ā

Relationship & IntimacyĀ 

Working with:

  • Connection and disconnection

  • Communication, polarity, and intimacy

  • Couples work and relational dynamics

Liberation & ShadowĀ 

Working with:

  • Life force, desire, and expansion of emotional range

  • Shadow work and denied parts

  • Power, permission, and expression

  • Opening the heart through expanding emotional-energetic rangeĀ rather than fixing pain


This immersion focuses on:

  • How we open more

  • How we reclaim vitality

  • How shadow becomes a doorway to liberation

Healing & AlchemyĀ 

Working with:Ā 

  • Safety and corrective experience

  • Developmental and relational trauma

  • When to soften, when to challenge

  • Individual and group healing dynamics


This immersion is about:

  • Meeting wounds without re-traumatizing

  • Using the field to support repair

  • Facilitating deep healing with precision and care

One Immersion. Multiple Levels of Experience.


Each immersion brings together facilitators at different stages of mastery.Ā 

Most participants are Level 1, focused on receiving the transmission and learning the foundations.

Some participants return as Level 2, receiving more direct teaching, tools, and applied training.

A small number are Level 3, working in live supervision and apprenticeship, often supporting others while being mentored closely.

Everyone trains together in the same field ā€” learning happens through proximity, responsibility, and lived experience.Ā

Each Immersion Is Held in a 90-Day Container

Before:

(Online ā€“ ~6 weeks)Ā 

  • Weekly calls

  • Orientation and preparation

  • Shared language and nervous system readiness

During:

(Live ā€“ 3 weeks at New Eden)Ā 

  • Full-time immersion

  • Practice, training, and transmission

  • Living and learning together

After:

(Integration ā€“ ~3 weeks)Ā 

  • Coaching and support

  • Integration into daily life and facilitation

  • Grounding the experienceĀ

Before I could guide others into wholeness, I had to find it for myself.


Hi, Iā€™m Christian Pankhurst, founder of Heart iQā„¢, and Iā€™m honored to be your guide on this path.

My journey began in a childhood marked by intensity and unsafety ā€” experiences that led me to years of anxiety, panic, and inner disconnection.

Through these challenges, I developed Heart iQā„¢: a trauma-informed, body-based approach to healing and group facilitation that now helps thousands of others lead with more presence, depth, and authenticity.

Iā€™ve spent the last 20 years refining this method and training facilitators across the globe.

Along the way, Iā€™ve integrated wisdom from both Eastern and Western traditions ā€” always with the goal of creating safe, attuned group spaces where transformation happens naturally.
